The Board of Bridges Connecting Communities Ltd is committed to the establishment and management of volunteer organisation for the benefit of the citizens of Knox and surrounding areas. Bridges provides an extensive range of services and programs for frail aged and people with a disability.
The Board is composed of people who have an understanding of the local community and the needs of the community. The Board members have a range of interests and skills to facilitate the smooth and effective governance of the organisation. Members must adhere to the Code of Ethics and operate within all legal requirements.

Joined Bridges as a volunteer in 2015 and joined the Board in the same year

Worked in Real Estate from 1980 for several years then self-employed in a newsagency and Tattslotto agency for 25 years.

Colin has served the Wantirna and broader Knox community holding many voluntary positions on School Council, Sporting club committees, serving as a schools ambassador and community representative. Colin has served as a Director of the Wantirna Community Bendigo Bank.Colin’s extensive HR knowledge and experience has been acquired through his Senior Management positions within many community organisations over his working career.Colin brings a variety of experience to the board of Bridges.

Involved with dog obedience in the City of Knox and grows orchids as a hobby Treasurer of 3 organisations and a director on two other Boards including Bridges
Denise brings to Bridges, extensive experience in the Not for Profit sector that covers more than 30 years.Currently managing Knox Infolink, the largest welfare support agency in Knox and previously managing Eastern Community Legal Centre’s Outer East offices for 10 years, combined with17 years’ experience managing the Consumer and Tenant Resource Centre - Outer East, she brings a highly developed skills base that includes, stakeholder and community engagement, program management, organisational development and an in depth knowledge of the outer east.
