Client Contributions

Cost Toward Services

A wonderful team of dedicated volunteer drivers sustain this service and if it was not for their ongoing support and devotion to volunteering this service would not be available. We request a client contribution for this service to cover our expenses and to ensure our service is financially sustainable for the future.

Social Support Groups (SSG)

Bridges run sixteen SSGs throughout the week and stop for the Christmas New Year break finishing the second week of December and resuming the second week of January.
Session costs are as per the HACC Fee schedule which is currently $7.50. The fee schedule is updated yearly by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Client contribution for transport for each SSG session is $8 if the transport is provided by Bridges and $6.00 if it is provided by the Knox Council Bus.
Clients can give cash on the day or elect to be invoiced bimonthly.

Outings

The cost of the outing will vary depending on the location. Bridges coordinators collect the entry and meal cost from clients prior to the day of the event.

Client Contributions for Knox Consumers

Local Drives within the Knox area – $15
Drives to Outside of Knox but before the boundaries of Box Hill, Clayton or Lilydale – $20
Drives to the boundaries Box Hill, Clayton or Lilydale – $25
If sharing a local drive with another client to the same destination each client – $ 7.50
Community Shopping Bus – $8

Pet Program

Annual Fee $30.00

Client Contributions for SWYR Consumers

Local Drives within the hills area – $15
Community Shopping Bus – $8
Drives off the hill within the Knox area – $20
Drives outside the Knox area will need to be discussed with the SWYR Transport Coordinator.

Drive contributions are paid to the volunteer driver on the day, who will issue you a receipt for the drive or an invoice can be arranged through the office prior to your drive.
