Active Brains Club
Active Brains Club keeps Clients hands and minds busy by playing games and participating in trivia in a fun and friendly group environment. The clients enjoy sharing stories and jokes and often end up reminiscing when they get together. Active Brains Club is a good way for clients to avoid feeling isolated and a great way to meet others and stay connected.
Arts & Crafts Club
Arts & Crafts Club is a welcoming and friendly creative space for clients to connect with others while participating in a wide range of different activities each week. Some past creations have included hand made cards, calendars and jewellery making. All abilities are welcome and no previous art or craft experience is necessary to join in.
Everyday Tech Skills
The Everyday Tech Skills program gives clients the skills needed to use their technology to its full potential in a supportive environment. A patient, skilled tutor will teach clients how to use their devices (eg smart phone, Ipad) in such a way that they are more connected to family and friends. Sessions are held at a range of great venues and transport is available to eligible clients. All abilities are welcome and no previous experience is required to join.
Knitting Club clients create knitted and crocheted items of their choice with the option of knitting for various charities including KOGO (Knit One Give One). Knitting Club is a wonderful way to share a love of knitting as well as relax, talk and meet likeminded people. All abilities are welcome and no previous knitting or crochet experience is necessary to participate.
Quiz & Puzzle Club
Quiz & Puzzle Club aims to support clients by encouraging logical thinking skills and mental abilities by completing quizzes, playing games (including Bingo) and participating in trivia in a fun and friendly group environment. The clients often delight in sharing stories, jokes and reminiscing while enjoying the social interaction that the Quiz & Puzzle Club provides in a light hearted and relaxed atmosphere. Once a month the club gets together at a Cafe to enjoy a morning tea together.
Virtual Social Club
This is an online social club where clients connect via zoom as a fun and easy way to meet people and chat whilst keeping their minds active by participating in group trivia, all from the comfort of their own home.
In Woodwork Club, Clients learn to handcraft a range of items in a fun and supportive setting. Some of the clubs past projects include: chopping boards, Lazy Susan’s, and tables. All abilities are welcome and no previous woodworking experience or knowledge of tools is necessary to join.
