Community Transport

Transport Services

If you have difficulty accessing ordinary transport, perhaps because you are older, frail, or have an illness or disability, you will find our transport services affordable and accessible.  Through our well-trained volunteers we offer safe, comfortable and caring transport.

You have a right to maintain your independence as much as possible and this means being able to travel to attend appointments or access goods and services. Your right to participate in community life also means having the ability to get around.

Community Transport – Individual

We understand that, for a range of reasons, you may need some help getting to essential medical and *allied health appointments.

At Bridges Connecting Communities, we are here to support you with the help of our amazing Volunteer Community, offering a caring door-to-door transport service.

*allied Health appointments are those that compliment your general medical appointments. These appointments could be for example, Podiatry, Dental, X-ray or Pathology appointments.

We can transport you to any of our Bridges “Community Programs”.  Click here to see what we have on offer in our programs.
